Poole design in the late 1920s and 1930s was left mainly in the hands of Truda (Adams) Carter who created a distinctive look of art deco flowers, birds and animals on a white slip ground which was given a semi-matt glaze. For a selection of Poole Pottery visit my website Premier Antiques
