Antique Victorian Vaseline Glass

Webb's Vaseline glass c1890

Yellow opalescent or vaseline glass was produced in the 1880s and 90s by several glass houses including Thomas Webb and James Powell. Glass was coloured by the addition of uranium and then areas reheated to create a milky opalescence. For a good selection visit my website Premier Antiques
