A fine quality pearlware tea bowl and saucer by William Smith of Stockton-on-Tees (1825-55). Printed in dark blue with a scene showing a Turkish couple in a tented pavilion with a mosque in the distance. An interesting scene framed by a lovely border of flowers and scrolls.
