Early Spode Italian pattern

Early Spode 'Italian' Dinner Plate c1820

Thought to be based on a sketch taken from a Claude Lorraine landscape belonging to Parham House,  Spode's Italian pattern was introduced around 1816 and has probably been the most successful pattern ever produced. This early dinner plate is in remarkable condition for its age. For more details visit my website Premier Antiques
