A finely modelled Parian bust by Copeland of Miranda, the daughter of Prospero from Shakespeare's The Tempest. First issued in 1859 for the Crystal Palace Art Union, one of several associations set up to promote and allocate affordable works of art to members who paid a subscription fee.
