| Clarice Cliff Large Biarritz 'Pansies' Plate c1933 |
A classic art deco shape introduced in the early 1930s. Expensive to produce as the shape tended to warp during firing, full hand painted designs as in this beautiful Pansies plate were usually decorated to order while 'shoulder' patterns and printing were used for general production.
