Royal Winton 'Eleanor' dish |
From the 1930s to the 1950s the firm of Grimwades were famous for producing tightly grouped, small floral patterns under the trade name of Royal Winton. It was a skilled and painstaking job to trim and fit the transfers to a variety of table and giftware shapes, but the results were vibrant and very decorative.
