| Royal Doulton 'Blue Daffodil' Art Nouveau Vase c1910 |
An impressive 'Blue Daffodil' vase from the flow blue flower range (Blue Iris, Blue Rose, etc.) of art nouveau wares. A large piece with looped handles that scroll around the shoulders of the vase to great effect. The main body has striking sprays of blue daffodils against a sponged gold background and a deep cobalt blue collar overprinted with stylised leaves and flowers, again in best gold.
