Rare Derby Porcelain Pastille Burner

Derby Porcelain Imari 'King's Pattern' Pastille Burner c1820

A superb Derby Porcelain Works pastille burner decorated with Imari style colours in an early version of the 'King's Pattern'. It's survived in remarkable condition considering it was used 200 years ago to hold burning charcoal to perfume a well-to-do boudoir. For more details visit Premier Antiques

The same shape with a different pattern can be seen here in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection.
