| Sowerby Purple Malachite Slag Glass 'Boat' Salt c1886 |
An unusual version and size, this purple slag glass boat was registered in December 1886, and being small was probably intended as an open salt. Larger ones were sold as flower holders and table centrepieces. For more details see Premier Antiques
