Royal Winton Petunia

The Royal Winton pastel ranges were introduced in the late 1930s and by the 1950s they had been extended to include wall pockets, trinket and dressing table sets. The glaze used on the pastel wares seems particularly prone to age crazing and is acceptable to a certain degree. Petunia was made in pink, yellow and deep mottled pink and is one of the prettiest and most collected. Below is a lovely pink toast rack in excellent condition. For more details see Premier Antiques
