Early Blue and White - Spode's Temple Pattern

Printed in medium blue with a chinoiserie scene of an ornate pagoda with two men on a bridge and framed by a border of stylised flowers, scrolls and moths. It's sometimes called 'two man willow'. Used on early bone china tea ware and sometimes gilded. Seen here on a fine shallow dish or biscuit plate. For more details see Premier Antiques
