Gaudy Welsh

Gaudy Welsh first appeared in Staffordshire around the late 1820s and remained popular in various forms for over a hundred years. The main colours were burnt orange, iron red and green painted over cobalt blue. In addition turquoise, yellow and pink were also used along with gold and pink lustre.
