Davidson's Pearline - Somerset

Davidson's blue pearline glass - Somerset pattern c1895

Somerset was introduced by Davidson's in 1895 with pattern registration number 254027. Catalogues of the time feature water sets, cream and sugars, tumblers and various dishes. In both yellow and blue pearline, this striking design doesn't appear that often and as a consequence is highly collectable. Here is a superb large sugar and creamer in blue.
