Designed by Charles Noke and introduced in the mid 1930s, Zunday Zmocks is a lovely series of ten scenes showing two 'gaffer' type characters in their Sunday best. Based on characters originally drawn by J C Clark ('Kyd'), this very collectable series was introduced by Charles Noke in 1908, the range being extended in 1912 to celebrate the centenary of Dickens' birth. Finely printed in sepia and then hand coloured, early vases like this one featuring Sairey Gamp are particularly difficult to find, especially in such good condition.
