Based on an engraving by Francis Eginton published in 1807, this rare Spode design is seldom seen. Introduced in 1814 and printed in medium blue with a fine rippled glaze, this lovely dinner plate is finely potted and dates from around 1815. For more details visit my website Premier Antiques
