Royal Doulton - Dickens Relief Series G

A fine collection of specially moulded jugs, flagons and tankards were first introduced by Royal Doulton in the 1930s and the series was developed further after the war. They were all withdrawn by 1960. Here is a superb jug showing a scene from 'David Copperfield', cleverly modelled as the converted boat used as the Peggotty family home.
