Entered in the George Jones pattern books (no.2245) as 'Waterlilies dessert set; centrepiece, low comport, elevated comport and dessert plates', this beautiful bronze mounted comport has the impressed Registration Diamond for 9th March 1869, parcel number 1 (design patent numbers 227743/4 issued to George Jones, Stoke).
