A rare Susie Cooper cheese dish designed for Wood and Sons in the Wren shape with its distinctive curled handle. Painted in indian red and hair brown with small stylised tulips and dots of incised decoration. The design was shown in 1935 at the Royal Academy 'British Art in Industry Exhibition'.
