| Doulton 'Monks in the Cellar' Vase - Whieldon Glaze c1910 |
A large 6887 Art Nouveau shape vase depicting a monk with hands on hips standing next to a beer barrel. Beautifully block printed in deep cobalt blue with a fine Whieldon glaze which enhances the colour. This rare series was designed by Charles Noke and first introduced around 1906.
