| Spode 'Hunting a Buffalo' Indian Sporting Series c1810 |
A stunning Spode oval platter or large soup tureen stand printed with a scene from the Indian Sporting series showing hunters on elephants attacking a charging buffalo. Not perfect, there is a rim chip, but I think this can be forgiven on such a lovely rare piece. For more details visit Premier Antiques
