Outlined in black for a striking effect, 'House and Bridge' became the iconic Clarice Cliff landscape design when it was used to illustrate the exhibition poster and L'Odeon book in the 1970's. Here the detailed scene of houses set in a rolling landscape with bubble trees, a river and a bridge is beautifully incorporated on this superb drum shaped pot. A rare find and in great condition.
