Clarice Cliff - Celtic Harvest

Clarice Cliff 'Celtic Harvest' teapot c1938

A range of tableware and fancies moulded as corn sheaves and fruit with hand painted detail in colour. Introduced around 1936 with a number of glaze variations it was produced up to the early 1960s; later pieces tend not to have the Clarice Cliff signature. The design is at its best on large items such as pitchers, teapots and biscuit barrels where handles are formed from clusters of fruit. For more details see Premier Antiques
