Maling Ringtons 'Cathedrals' Hexagonal Tea Caddy

Maling 'Cathedrals' Hexagonal Ringtons Tea Caddy c1930

In the north east, we still have Ringtons traditional doorstep delivery of fine teas and in the 1920s and 30s they commissioned Maling to produce several different caddies which came filled with tea. This tall 'Cathedrals' jar has a different northern abbey or cathedral on each panel, with a view of Durham Cathedral on the lid. For more details visit Premier Antiques
