Clarice Cliff 'Forest Glen' Bon Jour Cruet Set c1935 |
One of the most striking of Clarice's landscape designs introduced towards the end of the Bizarre period in 1935, 'Forest Glen' features a finely drawn cottage (sometimes omitted on smaller shapes, as here) and a beautifully etched landscape with a red 'Delecia' sky. This little Bon Jour cruet shows just how skilfully the bold colours could be applied, using the various techniques that make up this design. For more details visit Premier Antiques
