| Royal Doulton 'Sedan Chair' Series Rack Plate D3597 c1920 |
A fine rack plate from the rare 'Sedan Chair' series introduced in 1912. One of three scenes, this one depicts a lady holding her skirts in front of a sedan chair with two attendants. The lovely pastel shades are block printed, a technique used by Royal Doulton to provide a greater range of colours. For more details see Premier Antiques
