Royal Winton Hand Painted 'Pixie'

The Pottery Trade Gazette in February 1936 enthused about the new 'Pixie' wares by Royal Winton. Several variations of colour are known, the earliest pixies are dressed in bright red and orange. From the 1940s to the early 50s, pastel colours were introduced with the pixie in yellow with a blue cap or vice versa. An even rarer colourway has the pixie dressed in black with a blue cap.
