Wedgwood Majolica Plates

Ranked alongside Minton and George Jones, Wedgwood began producing coloured Victorian majolica wares around 1860. With a new partnership in 1858, the transfer of artist and designer Emile Lessore from Minton in 1860 and the advice of Leon Arnoux, Wedgwood began to perfect their knowledge of majolica production.
