Rare Davenport 'Fisherman' Series dish c1820

An early rural series by John Davenport with seven known scenes which all share the same border of chevrons and medallions. The central part of the design shows different ruins and figures (which is where series variations occur) while the surrounding landscape remains the same throughout.
