Susie Cooper Kestrel Shape

Susie Cooper Crown Works Blue 'Orchid' Kestrel Coffee Pot c1952

Probably the best know and most sort after design, the Kestrel shape was introduced in 1932 for teapots, jugs and coffee pots. The sweeping finial and 'bird beak' spout show strong Art Deco influences. The shape continued in production until the late 1950s and other items such as preserve pots were added.
