Early Blue & White - James & Ralph Clews

The short-lived pottery (Cobridge 1817-1834) operated by James and Ralph Clews produced fine quality blue printed wares, primarily for export to America. Much sought after American views and subject matter were produced, usually in dark blue which was fashionable in the 1820s.
