New Jazz - a great name for an early design that captures the art deco age. Charlotte had joined Burgess and Leigh in late 1926 and by 1927 the firm began announcing her designs and using her signature 'L Rhead' (for Lottie) on the base of items. Her name was usually added by the tube liner responsible for the decoration of the item, although at this time some pieces were also signed by Charlotte herself.
