In 1806 John Brameld took over the old Yorkshire pottery at Swinton and together with his son began to produce some fine blue and white transfer wares. By 1826 the firm had become the Rockingham China Works and was also producing fine porcelain. Here is a rare 'Boys Fishing' jug from the 1820s. For more details see
