Victorian Opalescent Glass Swan

In 1885 the Manchester glasshouse of Burtles, Tate & Co. introduced these beautiful swans in several sizes. I'm sure they were meant to be cream or sauce pourers as the neck sits nicely in your grip and the tail forms the perfect spout. The opalescence seems to come in either 'blue' or 'rose'.
