Large Carlton Ware Water Lily Basket

A rare large Art Deco pottery basket by Carlton Ware which uses water lilies as the theme. The overlapping green pads form the body and there is a striking yellow flower, while tendrils and flower buds cleverly form the handle. A superb piece from the 1930s.
