Charlotte Rhead - Persian Leaf

On a recent visit to the British Museum I was enthralled by their Iznik pottery collection. It's long been recognised that both Charlotte and Frederick Rhead found inspiration in these early wares and I could see immediately some of their influences. Charlotte's Persian Leaf design from around 1938 is a good example.
