Blue and White Drainers

Drainers or mazarines were sold as optional extras to meat platters and intended to sit in the centre to drain meat or fish juices. Quite often pierced with elaborate patterns, they have long been one of the most collected items of early blue and white pottery. For more details see Premier Antiques
